Sylvester is intrigued by the porch but a little afraid of it too. In colder weather we only go out there to get the mail. Each time we open the door Sylvester runs up to it but never crosses the threshold (see above).
This time I encouraged him to go out and he finally did.
However he was very cautious the entire time.
