Sylvester came to us on December 12, 2021 although we knew he'd be ours back in 2020. Dale has a friend with advanced Parkinson's. Back in 2020 this friend decided he wanted to get a cat. Although Dale tried to dissuade this friend from getting the cat (due to his illness it would be hard to care for the cat and due to his advanced age the chances he'd outlive the cat are slim.)
I took he first and second photos in this post the first day I met him which was around October 10, 2021. Dale and I stopped over at John's place to take care of Sylvester while John was in the hospital. He wasn't out when we arrived. After we sat down he peeked around a corner and looked at me tentatively. Dale told me to call his name and when I did he came running over to me and got up on my lap. He was so sweet and friendly.
